SPIF - Sierra Pacific Industries-Forestry (SPIF)The Forestry Division of Sierra Pacific Industries manages ±1.7 million acres in northern California. The majority of the collection results from rare plant surveys within forestland and associated habitats, accompanied by various plot based studies, and includes both rare and common species. Our targeted list of endangered/threatened/rare plants comprises ±400 species. In addition to protecting rare plants as part of a long-term management strategy, we also conduct forest and watershed research.
