Locality: United States, Colorado, Jefferson, Dakota Ridge. Northwesternmost city limits of Golden, west side of Dakota Ridge (North Hogback), about 1/2 of the way up the west slope from Cressmans Gulch, 2.66 km. north northwest of the GNIS location of Golden.

Habitat: Foothills grassland, below any significant concentration of shrubs, also collected here: Rhus trilobata, Tragia ramosa, Eriogonum alatum, and Grindelia squarrosa.
