High plains above Rocky Flats, northwest corner of Ranson/Edwards, 1.7 mi. west on CO Hwy 72 from CO Hwy 93, 2.1 mi generally north on Plainview Road, then 350 m. west. 39.897423824°N, -105.275121247°W WGS 1984, Elev. 2036 m. Area with down, burned ponderosa pines, also collected here: Ceanothus fendleri, nearby Amorpha nana, Danthonia spicata, and Sorghastrum nutans. Collected by permit: Jefferson County Open Space, 2019, issued 1 March 2019 to T. Schweich.
