Terrace on the north bank of Apex Gulch, between Fire Station 4 and the Kinney Run Trail bridge, 5.72 km. south of the GNIS location of Golden. 39.717044849°N, -105.209512319°W WGS 1984, Elev. 1877 m. Also collected here: Potentilla recta, Verbascum thapsus, and Vicia villosa. This area was extensively collected by E. H. Brunquist in 1959-1960 during the Peabody Museum excavation at Magic Mountain. B. incana was not collected at that time. Collected by permit: Jefferson County Open Space, 2019, issued 1 March 2019 to T. Schweich.
