Margins of large sandy/gravelly wash; with Olneya, Parkinsonia, Lycium, Larrea, etc.
Flowering & Fruiting
Solitary annual in wash; fls. purple. This the only one seen in the last week in the Choc. Mtns., except for one along Ted Kipf Rd. on the W edge. Populations seem to have crashed locally in the drought of recent years.
