High point on ridge, previously bulldozed on top and along the south and west ridglines; chaparral, with dominants including Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriogonum fasciculataum var. polifolium, Salvia mellifera, Eriodictyon crassifolium, and Acmispon glaber.
Fruiting
Fairly common, c. 50 plants on south side of summit in disturbed soil (firebreak), among Eriodictyon crassifolium. Dry plants soaked before pressing.
