Riparian woodland w/ Populus fremontii, Salix gooddingii, S. laevigata, S. lasiolepis, Carya illinoensis, Juglans californica, Fraxinus, & Vitis girdiana.
Flowering & Fruiting
Uncommon but forming large mats at edge of stream where it occurred. In wet mud or with stems in water and ±floating. Peduncles erect until fruit ripens, when they curve downward. Fls. whitish.
