Atriplex sp. - saltbush
Note: not determined to species, needs study, iNat Observations Atriplex serenana var. serenana - bractscale
Reported at Whiting Ranch earlier, but no documentation. Closest appears to be this iNat observation, well out of the park: iNaturalist Observation Asclepias fascicularis Decne. - Narrowleaf Milkweed
NATIVE Note: observed within 50 meters of the park boundary. To be looked for in the park. CULTIVATED, (Native to South Africa), Note: irrigated and cultivated at McFadden House offices and landscape. NATIVE, Note: Not native to region. Several plants established (assumed from restoration) 150 m from park boundary. Should be looked for within the adjacent area. Lasthenia californica - California Goldfields
NATIVE, Observations of this sp. are likely to be L. gracilis. L. californica being a taxon further North. NATIVE, Note: ID not confirmed from photo. CULTIVATED Note: in irrigated, cultivated landscape. Intergeneric hybrid of Catalpa and Chilopsis. CULTIVATED (hybrid of C. creticus and C. ladanifer, both of European origin). Note: growing in irrigated landscape at the park margin. Crassula ovata (Mill.) Druce - jade plant
Note: naturalized within 100 meters of park boundary. Cupressus sempervirens L. - Italian cypress
CULTIVATED, (native to Eastern Europe), Note: cultivated and irrigated at McFadden House offices and landscape. Carex globosa Boott - roundfruit sedge

Note: observed within 50 meters of park boundary. Iris germanica L. - German Iris
CULTIVATED, (Hybrid origin, probably from Southern European and Mediterranean parents), Note: at McFadden House offices and landscape. CULTIVATED, (native to Africa, Europe, Western Asia, and the Mediterranean), Note: a single mature plant at trailside is not far from urbanization and likely planted. Unlikely to persist and multiply. Salvia sonomensis Greene - creeping sage

CULTIVATED, Note: at McFadden House offices and irrigated landscape. Abutilon palmeri A. Gray - Palmer's Mallow

NATIVE, Note: Within 70 meters of park boundary. Diplacus aurantiacus (Curtis) Jeps. - Orange Monkey Flower
NATIVE, Recent revision of the clade has resulted in this sp. being unlikely in the park. Records are likely Diplacus xaustralis. NATIVE, Note: likely valid, but cannot confirm the ID from the photos. Penstemon spectabilis Thurb. ex A. Gray - showy penstemon
Penstemon spectabilis var. spectabilis - showy penstemon
NATIVE, Note: An observation is ca 400m outside the park boundary. To be looked for. NATURALIZED (nativity complex), Note: Hybrids of P. xhispanica and P. racemosa suspected, but not certain. Characters intermediate. NATURALIZED, (native to southern Eurasia), Note: within a few meters of the park boundary. NTURALIZED, (probably native to Southeast Asia), Note: at urban edge, a few meters outside park boundary; appears planted. Allophyllum glutinosum (Benth.) A.D. Grant & V.E. Grant - Sticky/Blue False-Gilia
Note: observed within 200 meters of park boundary. To be looked for within the park. Ranunculus arvensis L. - corn buttercup
Note: a 2000 collection of this important non-native was within 20 meters of the park boundary. It has not been relocated and presumed extirpated. Populus nigra L. - Lombardy's poplar
CULTIVATED, Cultivated (native to Europe) Note: in irrigated, cultivated landscape, although seedlings present. Dodonaea viscosa (L.) Jacq. - hopseed bush
CULTIVATED, (native to Africa, the Americas, southern Asia and Australasia), Note: Single plant at trail margin, probably planted and receiving irrigation. Solanum americanum Mill. - White Nightshade
