Plants of the Mono Basin. Common name: Dwarf Purple Monkey Flower. Detailed information observed while keying specimen is listed on a second label. Most collections at this locality are determined as var. mephiticus, but short lengths of hairs on leaves and calyces of this collection are strongly suggestive of var. nanus.
