Edge of mesa in and near fallow field. Ruderal/coastal sage scrub vegetation vegetation with Eucalyptus, Opuntia ficus-indica, Baccharis pilularis consanguinea, Mesembryanthemum crystallinum, Salsola australis, Tamarix ramosissima, Nicotiana glauca, Artemisia californica.
Flowering & Fruiting
Large tree with shredding whitish bark, fls. pinkish; uncommon. Note: there are many smaller naturalized trees in area but not yet in flower to verify species.
