Habitat:
Pavement transition to dune, granitic, sandy soil, 3-4° slope southeast. Creosote bush scrub with Geraea canescens, Larrea tridentata, Chaenactis sp., Nama demissum, Eremalche rotundifolia, Plantago ovata, Cryptantha sp., Chorizanthe rigida, Monoptilon sp., Lupinus arizonicus, Chorizanthe brevicornu, Camissonia boothii, Ambrosia dumosa, Prosopis glandulosa, Atriplex hymenelytra, Atriplex sp., Chorizanthe sp., Encelia farinosa.

Notes:
Shrub 1-3 ft tall. Population > 100 individuals in area.
