Habitat:
Riparian forest & adjacent annual grassland. Mixed hardwood overstory of Quercus lobata, Salix, Fraxinus velutina, Populus fremontii. Rubus pensilvanicus, Lonicera japonica, and annual grasses in understory.
Reproductive Condition:
Flowering
Notes:
Annual, fls. yellow, fading orange. Abundant in scarce patches; open sunny places away from dense annual grass cover.
